One fateful day, hotel guest and senatorial candidate Christopher Marshall meets Marisa and mistakes her for a wealthy socialite. After an enchanting evening together, the two fall madly in love. Can two people from very different worlds overcome their differences and live happily ever after?
Editor's Verdict
"Maid in Manhattan is frequently cited as a Christmas movie due to its release during the holiday season and the presence of significant, though perhaps not dominant, holiday elements that enhance the romance and transformation themes. However, the central conflict (class difference/mistaken identity) is not intrinsically Christmas-related, leading to a 'KINDA' verdict."
