When Sarah is forced to babysit her half-brother Toby, she inadvertently summons the Goblin King who whisks Toby away to his castle at the center of a labyrinth. Sarah enters into a bargain with the Goblin King where she is given just thirteen hours to solve the labyrinth and rescue Toby, or else lose him forever.
Editor's Verdict
"Labyrinth is a classic fantasy adventure film. While the setup occurs when Sarah is asked to babysit her infant brother, a situation often associated with holiday travel or family gatherings, there is absolutely no mention of Christmas, holiday iconography, or thematic elements related to the season. It fails all five criteria."
